Event Highlights from the Women’s Sector – February

More than Frontline Services

On top of the impactful frontline services that our member organisations deliver, they also host special events and unique programs throughout the year.  Check out the diversity of some of the offerings coming up between Feb. 10th to 28th.

All events are free and available by drop-in,  unless otherwise noted. Please check links/event details for participant requirements – such as age or gender (some offerings have an age requirement and not all events are open to men).

In Whitehorse

  • TogetherWe Rise – A family-friendly community event celebrating cultural diversity.

  • Fem Movie Night – An evening for youth, hosted by Youth Activism and Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre

  • Art Workshop – Participate in 1 or both workshops and have your art exhibited on March 8 – International Women’s Day

  • Candy Heart Earrings Workshop with Whitehorse Aboriginal Women’s Circle

  • Connect to Culture – Different projects each week, often beading, with all supplies provided.
