Celebrate YWITT’s 25th Birthday – Oct. 3 at Mt. Sima

25 years ago, a small, determined group of visionary women put on the first Young Women Exploring Trades Conference to inspire and empower young women across the Yukon to explore the trades.

Over the next quarter of a century, Yukon Women in Trades & Technology (YWITT) would go on to partner with YukonU to upskill and educate women in the trades, offer high school students opportunities to build their trades skills, lead research and advocacy to realize a vision of safer skilled trades and technology careers for all, and so much more!

Join YWITT on October 3rd, 5-8pm at Mount Sima for an evening of community and celebration to ring in their 25th year and honour all those who helped get them to where they are today.

Dust off your going-out Carhartts, don your fanciest steel toes, round up the family and friends, and come on out for:

• Lawn games

• BBQ

• Kids craft zone

• Face painting
