There are many ways to support gender justice in the Yukon, and in your community, throughout the year. If you are able, consider donating this season — every YWC member organization is a non-profit doing essential frontline and systemic work.

Did you know that Yukon Women’s Coalition has 11 member organizations – all women-led and feminist, not-for-profits?
Quick facts on our membership:
- 8 member organizations are based out of Whitehorse, 2 in Watson Lake, and 1 in Dawson City.
- 3 Indigenous organizations serving, and uplifting the culture of, different Indigenous populations in the Yukon
- 3 Shelters providing emergency & transitional housing and some 2nd stage housing.
- 2 Women’s organizations providing feminist spaces for all women – one in French and one primarily in English
- 1 Ethical research member, focused largely on advancing women’s equity through research-informed advocacy
- 2 Gender equity members focused on increasing safety and equity in the workplace
