Yukon Women in Trades & Technology offers Grants

The cost of entering the trades and/or going to school, can add up in a hurry. Yukon Women in Trades & Technology is committed to decreasing barriers and increasing access to skilled trades. If you’re a woman or gender-diverse, Yukon Women in Trades & Technology, can help with the costs through these two grants:

Work Gear Bursary offers $150 to buy tools, gear, personal protective equipment (PPE) or work boots.
Penny Raven Fund contributes $500-$1000 to support education in technology and skilled trades.

Intake deadlines for both these grant are: May 15, September 15, and December 15.
